Brad Kopetsky serves as Executive Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Northern Trust Corporation. As Corporate Secretary, Brad is a trusted advisor to the organization's Board of Directors and senior leadership on a wide range of matters, with a particular focus on corporate governance and issuer-side federal securities law.  Prior to joining Northern Trust in January 2015, Brad was an associate in the Financial Institutions Group of Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP, where he focused on federal securities law matters, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions for public and private financial institutions. Prior to law school, Brad worked as a trust administrator and internal auditor at a regional bank holding company in northeast Wisconsin. Brad received his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin—Law School in 2009 and his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Lakeland University in 2001.
