Dr. Grayhack is a graduate of the University of Chicago School of Medicine and the Northwestern University School of Medicine Orthopedic Residency. He did a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital of Sick Children at University of Toronto. For over 25 years he’s been an attending orthopaedic physician and surgeon at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. He is also an Associate Professor at Feinburg School of Medicine. He has a special interest in spinal deformities, the etiology, care and treatment. He has served as a senior surgeon for the treatment and surgery of spinal deformities including complex scoliosis. He has been an author of multiple publications and chapters regarding scoliosis and other spinal deformities. He has served on a number of advisory boards including families with spinal muscular dystrophy and spina bifida. He also lectures widely regarding multiple different orthopaedic conditions and spinal deformities.
