Sam Pauley
Director of Institutional Giving

Sam has spent his nonprofit career building institutional giving strategy for Chicago-area nonprofits serving people experiencing homelessness and people with disabilities. Over the last ten years in development and government relations, he has led grant writing and reporting and cultivated relationships with government, foundation, and corporate funders. He joins the leadership team after five years in the development department.
Sam holds a Master of Arts in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago Crown Family School, with a focus on poverty and inequality, and a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In his free time, Sam is a middling marathoner, enjoys fly-fishing, and has recently gotten way too into Norwegian lit.
