Campaign for

Youth Potential

There aren't the right words to describe what Covenant House Illinois means to me and other youth in my position. They tell you what you need to lift you up and give you the lessons you need to move on.

Meet Our Youth

Welcome to Covenant House Illinois' New Campus

An estimated 3,000 young people experience homelessness on any given night in Chicago. Through the Campaign for Youth Potential, Covenant House Illinois will provide shelter, programming, and tailored services to more youth in crisis than ever before - supporting and guiding young people as they establish independence and permanently break the cycle of homelessness.

In 2020, CHIL embarked on an ambitious $11.5 million capital campaign to renovate our 24,000 square foot facility and meet the growing needs of youth experiencing homelessness.

Giving Opportunities

Through the generous support of friends like you, Covenant House Illinois welcomes young people to our new home in East Garfield Park where they find the services, support and inspiration they need to realize their full potential.

Cash Donations

Most campaign gifts are paid through cash (i.e. by check, wire transfer or credit card). Cash gifts are typically the easiest.

Securities

Appreciated assets such as stocks and bonds are a great way to give. Selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, you may be able to automatically increase your gift and your tax deduction.

Other Types of Gifts

Life Insurance

and Charitable Lead Trusts may offer tax advantages to you.

Your contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Covenant House Illinois, Inc. (FEIN 81-2061485) is a tax-exempt charitable organization as described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
